Continuing Education Centers

 

Botetourt County adult and continuing education programs

are available September through May with course offerings in business, work and family studies (home economics), marketing, trade and industrial education, agriculture/horticulture, and general educational development. The variety of courses provides the opportunity for marketable skills training and/or personal enrichment. The Jefferson National Forest and the George Washington National Forest have over 70,000 acres in three Ranger Districts in Botetourt County. The National Forests make up 22 percent of the county's land area and offer great environments for hunting, hiking, fishing and bird watching.
